Many historical houses are close to the cottage, including Houghton Hall, Holkham, Oxburgh Hall, Blickling and Felbrigg. There are magnificent beaches at Brancaster, Holkham and Wells and the beach resort of Hunstanton is just 20 minutes by car. There are bird sanctuaries at Titchwell, Scolt Head and Blakeney and within easy reach are golf courses at Brancaster, Sheringham and Hunstanton. Pub ¼ mile.
