When all guests want to gather together, you can lap up the ambience in the property’s parlour room, a beautiful time-trap with a ancient arched oak doorway, stone fireplace with an enormous stone lintel and great oak beams. You are surrounded by period etchings as you sink into one of the sumptuous sofas, you can pop the TV on (complete with Freeview) and all enjoy some TV time together. For extra choice, there is also a second fully equipped sitting room with lots of games and, if you’re feeling particularly creative, a writing room too. When bedtime rolls around, you will find the three bedrooms located up the stone stairs – steep and uneven in true cottage fashion – which consist of a king, a double and a twin.
