Or enjoy the splendour of Dartmoor and Exmoor. Other attractions include RHS Rosemoor Gardens and the Cobbaton Combat Museum. For outdoor enthusiasts there are plenty of walking and cycling opportunities why not hire bikes or take a ride on part of the pretty Tarka Train Line providing easy access to both Barnstaple and Exeter.

A walk across the meadow leads down to the fenced wildlife pond which has a cosy shelter with an undercover dining area (guests are welcome to take their own food and drink), which can be booked for exclusive use with the owner.
