Porthtowan has dramatic rock faces flanking the beach and an unhurried atmosphere that is perfect for a holiday. For a change of scene, follow the coast path or drive to St Agnes (4 miles), where you will find a tempting selection of places to eat and drink. Closer to home, Porthtowan’s excellent shop, pub, and restaurants are just 350 metres away.
On arrival, you will first climb an external staircase to enter this modern and attractive house. The impressive cast-iron staircase makes a fabulous focal point as it curves up to the first floor, where you will find an open-plan living area with vaulted ceilings. This spectacular space has huge floor-to-ceiling windows framing those spectacular views, along with a corner sofa and Smart TV, a modern kitchen with a breakfast bar, plus a table seating everyone, located beside an appealing circular window. There is also a snug with a sofa bed and another Smart TV, plus a separate shower room with WC. All four bedrooms are on the ground floor – two with king-size beds, and two with zip-and-link beds that can be arranged as twins or super-king-size beds on request. For freshening up, three of the bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms with rainfall showers, attachments, and WCs. Three bedrooms open out onto terraces overlooking the ocean, so you can enjoy lovely views first thing each morning. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC completes this level, alongside a utility room.
