Outside to the rear of the property is a large patio area with far-reaching countryside views, and steps that lead down to a lawned area lined with borders and shrubs and an additional seating area.
Within the village of Sleights, you will find a couple of pubs, a convenience store, family run bakery and butchers. There are many walking and cycling routes available from the property, and you can head along the Esk Valley Walk towards the bustling coastal town of Whitby (3.5 miles). Here, you will find an eclectic mix of independent shops, pubs, and restaurants, as well as some fabulous attractions such as the Captain Cook Museum and Whitby Abbey. There are excellent links to Whitby by train or bus.
