A gorgeous little cottage tucked away on a peaceful village road, beautifully and thoughtfully styled to create a comfortable, cosy rural retreat for two, or three. Just twenty minutes inland from North Norfolk's glorious coastline, and with a popular gastro pub, cafe and village shop selling delicious goodies all on the doorstep, this place really is a little star!
Little Star Cottage is just delightful. It's a romantic little spot too, and simply perfect for an escape to the country when the mood takes you. A Victorian cottage brought right up to date without losing any of its character and charm but, thankfully, with the ease of an updated staircase. Featuring striking Mulberry wallpaper upstairs and down, some cool lighting and Emma Bridgewater china too, the cottage is a visual delight. Entering the cottage from the front door, you arrive into a small porch (ideal for your dog's resting place) that leads into the sitting room, where a decorative nod to country lifestyle and a wood burning stove will entice you to take a seat and relax. From here, walk through to an open-plan newly fitted kitchen; a very pleasant room with natural limestone flooring, a dining area and a door opening to the rear courtyard garden.
Upstairs on the first floor are two bedrooms; a fabulous master bedroom, with an ultra-comfortable super-king size bed ensuring you will get an excellent night's sleep; and a cute single bedroom, both with contemporary bedroom furniture. And finally, a very smart, fully tiled bathroom. Outside the cottage you have the choice of a south facing, sunny front garden; or a cooler, paved courtyard garden, both fully enclosed and safe for little ones and your canine pal to safely play.
East Rudham is an attractive village made up of predominantly period properties, centred around a large village green and offers a great base for getting out and about exploring both inland and coastal North Norfolk.
