Welcome to Gerry's Cottage, a stunning 2 bed cottage which was believed to have been constructed some 150 years ago for the stone masons who worked on the nearby All Saints Church. Set on a small elevated terrace (13 steps up from the road) in the heart of Brixham, Gerry's Cottage is a stone's throw from all that bustling Brixham has to offer.
The cottage is small but perfectly formed and has so many character quirks and unique features, as well as enjoying two very sunny and good sized outside areas. Upon entering the property, the lovely exposed wooden floorboards and wood burning stove sets the scene for the rest of the style of the cottage. To the rear, a communal staircase accessed from both Gerry's and the cottage next door, leads to the garden which is split into two level platforms. Climb up the 30 steps (most with handrail), and Gerry's Cottage has the sole use of the very top garden with its limestone wall perimeter. The garden enjoys a lovely open outlook and takes in the church tower to the left, and the fields at Summercourt to the right.
