Positive: The location is excellent, the house is warm and comfortable.

Negative: It could have been a little cleaner. Note the inside of kitchen cupboards and drawers, the air fryer, and oven trays. There were no dishwasher tablets available, and the washing up brush looked tired and worn, and suspiciously like a toilet brush! So until we went shopping we couldn’t really get stuff clean. Also there are no recycling facilities. The owner claimed in her book that rubbish is sorted by hand, but this doesn’t appear to be true looking at other houses rubbish on collection day. The outdoor bin was full on arrival. Stroppy note from owner in visitors book seems a little silly.

Summary: We loved our Christmas stay and would happily return.
