Positive: A beautiful cottage set in the peaceful countryside of the southern Lake District — truly idyllic! Surrounded by stunning rural scenery, it’s perfect for walks right from the doorstep. The nearby village of Cartmel offers everything from cosy pubs to fine dining restaurants, adding to the charm of the stay. Karen was an excellent and thoughtful host, making us feel completely at home. The whole experience felt like being in the movie “The Holiday” — tranquil, romantic, and unforgettable. Absolutely 10 out of 10!
