Positive: La Parenthèse is a beautiful house with a lovely, quirky style. Perfect location for our needs, right in the center of Bastogne, and easy to walk to the bakery in the morning. Our stay was very short, so we didn't use the extra facilities. The hosts were very responsive and kind, doing all they could to honor requests. Lots of onsite and on-the-road parking available. The house is opposite a football field, so although for us it was quiet and easy to park some days this may be challenging.

Negative: There was a bit of confusion upon arrival, as the cleaning crew was not expecting the early arrival of some members of our party and felt somewhat uncomfortable. We had booked accommodation for seven adults and a child, as we were attending a wedding in the area. However, I was quite disappointed to find that only two double beds had been prepared. Having to set up four bunk beds at 1:30 in the morning was not an ideal experience!
