The property is accessed via Castle Terrace and it is possible to admire the fantastic views of the castle beyond from the stable door and windows in the sitting room - what better way to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee in the morning than with views of the castle and the sounds of birds chirping. The sitting room itself is cosy with a wood burning stove and comfy chairs, and as mobile signal can often be very lacking in rural Suffolk the homeowners have kindly provided a landline telephone (with honesty box) for making those important calls. The dining room has a dining table and ample seating for up to four guests so why not invite a friend or two over for dinner during your stay, especially as both the Pump Street Bakery and Pinneys are wiithin walking distance of the cottage and sell delicious local produce. Leading through the dining room is the compact but well-equipped kitchen with all of the mod-cons including an electric oven and hob and slimline dishwasher. Upstairs are two well-appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom with comfortable king size bed boasts impressive views of the castle whereas the smaller bedroom with single bed enjoys views of the rear garden. Whilst the decor and furnishing of Bailey Cottage is comfortable and characterful, the bathroom is contemporary and features a luxurious rainfall shower over the bath.

Orford is a spectacular coastal village with lots to see and do, so once the car is parked it's possible to enjoy a few car-free days and simply explore the village and local surrounding area on foot.
