Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The property was spacious and clean. The location was excellent for us was we were attending a family funeral in the area. It has a lot of potential but I think it is temporarily being used for holiday stays until it sells.

Negative: One double bed was really hard, the second double bed was too soft. One single bed had loose screws and was not strong enough for an adult to sleep on so we put the mattress on the floor. No bedding was left out for the sofa bed so we had to find it ourselves. There was no curtains in the downstairs room with the sofa beds. The upstairs windows had blinds that were too small and let light in. We had no hot water the first night and were too tired to see how to sort it. The boiler was turned off. We felt there should have been instructions on the boiler to say it was off and how to turn it on. There were lots of small steps which should be pointed out in the description. There was a 3" step down from the dinning area to the kitchen but as the flooring was all shiny marble effect it was difficult to see the change in level. My daughter hurt her ankle as she didn't notice it. Also three people turned up after 9pm and had also booked via booking.com for the same nights. They showed us their booking and had the key code. It was a good job they didn't arrive when we were out for dinner as we had left the key in the key box in case the rest of our family arrived before we got back.

Summary: It was adequate for what we required for two nights due to its proximity to our family funeral
