Positive: The location of the apartment was perfect as it was a stones throw to the beach, the apartment itself was lovely and decorated very nice.

Negative: A huge problem for myself and my family visiting Newquay for the first time was the lack of phone signal in the area (which cannot be helped) but we need to be able to plan our days as our eldest child has additional needs and we have a baby so aren’t able to wander about aimlessly. The apartment did have WIFI and login details were provided however we could not connect to the WIFI on either of our phones or iPad the connection would just keep loading but never connect which was very frustrating and meant that we had to travel and sit in a car park to get some phone signal to look up some local places. We eventually gave in and had to pay £20 to use an EE connection somewhere close by that required logging in every time we unlocked our phones. The view of the beach that is shown in the pictures when booking does not represent the view that the apartment actually provides, the pictures have been taken from apartment number one which has a clear view, whereas apartments 2 onwards have the point of the roof of the previous apartment in their view with around a 4 foot space either side to view the beach which is not what I thought I was getting. The narrow balcony on arrival was covered in dust/ sand, I understand it is located on the sea front and a lot of dust/ sand is in the air but if a cleaning service had been to the apartment between customers then they hadn’t bothered to sweep/ clean this area and definitely hadn’t bothered to clean the glass of the sliding doors leading to this area. Overall I felt a little disappointed by this stay, it cost me the best part of £2000 and was just underwhelming, my wife spent the first hour cleaning the balcony and sliding doors which is just not a good start and we each had to pay for WiFi for the week as what was provided did not work properly.
