Summary: The house is large and obviously being updated and refurbished to a high standard. It is difficult to find and a descriptive written guide would help to find it more easily. There is plenty of parking but the steepness of the site makes it very difficult to manoeuvre the car. The patio in front of the entrance, kitchen door, was thick with wet leaves. I ended up having to clear them up as the muck was being trailed into the house. The level of tech( cooker hob etc) was a bit beyond me! Good facilities but missing some of the basics, sufficient towels and tea towels, no kettle. Beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are lovely. As we had a 3 year old with us we were concerned about the stone step at the bottom of the stairs so covered it up. Overall it was a great place to stay
