Just 9 miles from Burton upon Trent you can enjoy a fascinating day discovering the art of brewing beer, whilst the National Memorial Arboretum is just 6 miles away and definitely worth a visit. Also, a short drive away you will find the lovely market towns of Lichfield and Ashbourne. Lichfield retains its original character with a beautiful cathedral, Samuel Johnson’s home, a centre dedicated to Erasmus Darwin, St Mary’s Centre, where the Staffordshire Millennium Tapestries are on permanent display, and wonderful places to stop and enjoy some food.
