The space

The property enjoys a fully functioning kitchen and dining area complete with everything you need to enjoy your stay.

A very comfortably lounge area with a large Sofa which is beautifully furnished and includes a large modern TV. We also provide complimentary super fast reliable wifi & 200+ TV Channels and access to Netflix, Prime video and many other apps.

There are 2 double bedrooms. Bedroom one has a Double size bed. Bedroom two is a good size and has two single size beds. The bathroom has a shower/bath with toilet. The property has plenty of storage including two hanging areas and plenty of draw space. The staircase within the property is steeper than usual for consideration with young children.

Summary: The cottage itself is okay. We had a good time there, but: - it's quite small for 3 or 4 people, - there aren't enough pots and pans -> it's difficult to cook, - the staircase is very steep, which is a problem when you have to use the toilet at night, - big people can't sit on the toilet properly-> not enough room for the knees, - we never got a parking space in the street -> description very optimistic, - no information in the cottage concerning rubbish recycling or other points of interest. What was really awful was the check in process. You only get the code to the keybox 2 or 3 hours before you check in. That means you have to start travelling without knowing how to get into the cottage. We didn't like that at all, especially considering that our mobiles didn't have a good connectivity in the UK. What would have happened, if we hadn't received the mail with the details because of lack of connectivity? Furthermore we didn't like the online check in tool. Requiring us to send a pic of one self and a scan of the passport in advance to identify one self is very unusual and not something we would do again. Having to accept all kinds of compensations in case you break something or make noise or do something else wasn't helping our holiday mood either. We try to be good guests and leave everything like we found it. We prefer the old fashioned email with instructions in advance so that we know how to get the keys before we set off.
