Located in the grounds of the 5-star Loch Ness Lodge and within its own private garden, Braeside enjoys a fantastic situation and has views out across world-famous Loch Ness. The cottage is superbly delivered and furnished throughout offering a high standard of accommodation for up to four people. Braeside is a truly fantastic base from which to enjoy this amazing part of the Highlands. Perfect for a family of up to four, two couples or as a romantic getaway for two, Braeside is spacious and as well as world-class views over the loch enjoys an open-fire to gather round after days out on adventures. The open-plan living/dining/kitchen is a fantastic room and has a door out to the front of the garden where there is a patio and garden furniture to soak up the Loch Ness view. The wrap-around garden is fully enclosed, and one well behaved dog is allowed at an extra charge of £25. There are two spacious bedrooms both zip-and-link superking size beds, so can be made into doubles or twins with prior notice. There are two large bathrooms, one en-suite and the other separate but essentially an en-suite.
The location of Braeside, along with its neighbouring cottages Ness-side and Woodside, is really second to none. Just off the main road that connects Inverness with Fort William and also leads to the Isle of Skye, you can be enjoying adventures in different parts of the Highlands very easily and quickly from the cottage. Inverness is only 15 minutes’ drive, Fort William and Ben Nevis are just over an hour away and the Isle of Skye is under 90 minutes’ drive. All these journeys go via other interesting places that need to be explored and the journeys are as scenic as they come. The coast and fine sandy beaches are only half an hour from Braeside and 40 minutes to the south you can be in the Cairngorms National Park. So, in winter ski slopes aren’t far from the cottage either. There aren’t may better located cottages in the Highlands for iconic views, and coupled with a luxury level of accommodation we urge you to book Braeside and rest assured of an excellent decision well made.
