The cosy lounge is also adorned with a antique grandfather clock and, if you’re feeling chilly, you can switch on the electric fire and snuggle on the sofa, watching the Smart TV. The kitchen/diner has plenty of space for preparing holiday meals, picnics and snacks, and a dining table for four. Upstairs, the double bedroom has room for a chaise longue as well as ample storage, and there’s also a single room for one with a wardrobe. They share a bathroom with a shower over the bath. The walled garden outside is perfect for children and pets, and has outdoor furniture so you can relax and enjoy the magnificent views of farmland, trees and rolling countryside.
The quiet hamlet of Harrop Fold is located in the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by open moorland and gentle lowlands which is latticed by dry-stone walls and dotted with pretty villages. Escape the hustle and bustle and walk, ride or cycle in some of the most remote and beautiful scenery in the country. Several excellent pubs are within 4 miles, and the ancient market town of Clitheroe - where you’ll find a plethora of specialist shops and the smallest Norman castle in England - is just 7.5 miles away.
