Summary: The Powis House Lodge is a refurbished older property that is quirky yet well proportioned. The beds are comfortable and the hot tub is excellent. The rental is good overall however some attention to small details could improve the stay, such as kindling or fire starters for the fireplace or an information book containing directions (location of switch for towel heater etc). The location is convenient for visiting sites and the combination of the hot tub and the fireplace make for a relaxing end to the day.
