Invernahyle Cottage is an attractive new-build detached cottage on the west coast of Scotland between Oban, Fort William and minutes from Glencoe. The modern cottage has views across countryside to Loch Linnhe and is located in the expansive grounds of “Invernahyle” a historic and grand Scottish villa. Nearby there are world-famous hiking routes, including the Ben Nevis summit trail; The Caledonia Way national cycle route passes by the door which links Inverness to Kintyre; and there are winter sports to enjoy and try at the Glencoe Ski Centre. It is the perfect base for exploring the area and visiting local castles, beauty spots or for simply relaxing and enjoying the views and walks straight from this lovely setting. The famous Highland Titles nature reserve is a 10 minute walk from the cottage and there is also a beautiful beach at Cuil bay just one mile from the cottage. There’s also a hidden gem of a golf course only five miles away at Dragon’s Tooth Golf Club, as well as horse riding, bike hire and and fishing at local lochs for trout.There are amazing sunset views and at night almost total dark skies yet local restaurants, inns and shopping are only a short drive - this really is a fantastic location for a Scottish Highlands vacation.
Fort William and Oban are short drives away and offer many restaurants, cafés, bars, shops and things to do. Oban is also useful to use the ferry terminal if you were interested in visiting some of the closer islands, or you were continuing your Highland journey after your stay. There’s an endless list of things to do and places to see near Invernahyle Cottage.
