Positive: Very cosy cottage with comfortable furniture, real working fire, quality bedding, easy parking, exceptional welcome pack and a great central location for exploring the area

Negative: Very tired, in need of a deep clean inside and out. Multiple spiders and spiders webs inside. None of the floors had been hoovered or mopped on arrival. Owner contacted and rather than arrange a clean, informed us where to find the hoover, mop and bucket. The outside bins were full and hadn't been emptied. Dining chairs very dirty and covered in food debris. The fridge needed cleaning and the freezer is in desperate need of defrosting. The outside area needed clearing, which we attended to. Many months worth of dead vegetation, commented about in June by a previous guest, which hadn't been rectified.

Summary: Comfortable, cosy cottage. In need 0f refreshing, inside and out.
