In the generous open-plan kitchen/dining room, pops of colour & natural finishing touches will instantly make you feel welcome. Owned by two summer-loving foodies, this room is one that all will enjoy- with ample space to cook, chat & chill! (we also adore the sofa area too for morning coffee… or keeping an eye on supper prep!)

Savouring sunny days, throw open the bi-folds and spill out into the garden for a game (or sip!) of something before a BBQ feast… Milford on Sea has THE most gorgeous array of local shops to stock-up! For afters, head to the impressive living room- with a HUGE corner sofa & chaise to sink into, this is a room fit for Netflix marathons if ever we saw one!

Heading up to shotgun one of the 4 bedrooms… the master is a must for most… drift off with the windows open so you are ready for a beach day come-sunrise. Overlooking The Solent, you really can't beat Milford's views, which stretch over to the Isle of Wight and beyond! The sea is fab for wild swimming, the little town buzzing with indie shops & restaurants, and the fresh salty-air surrounding you at all times… if you are looking for an adventure-filled seaside escape this is it!

Inside

The space here is soooo generous & welcoming...

Starting at the heart of it all, the large open-plan kitchen / dining room / coffee corner invites you all to sit, sip & feast together! We love the feeling of laidback living in here, with pops of colour & natural textures bringing a sense of fun & relaxation. Overlooking the garden, open the bi-folds to bring the outside-in... perfect for savouring balmy, summer nights.

Back to the kitchen (and it's uber-handy utility room!), the owners have left stone unturned when it comes to gadgets & gizmos; so fellow foodies will adore 'woking' here! With a vast central island, you'll find everyone stopping to chat as you chop, but there's also the uber-soft blue sofa for spectators & coffee-takers to chill as well!

Leading off into the main living room, you'll instantly feel impressed with the height & proportions. Softened with plump cushions, a gorgeous green feature-wall, and a HUGE corner sofa & chaise... you'll never fight for a spot... this is t ultimate chill out space!!! But, when all has gone quiet, we recommend drawing the curtains, lighting the fire & pouring a little night-cap.

Back past the downstairs bathroom (handy for big families!), please do head to the master immediately! Here you'll enjoy a kingsize bed, dressing area, and en-suite... you can even catch glimpse of the sea in-between the homes in-front.

The three double rooms enjoy a boho beachy-vibe for ultimate switching-off. There's another bathroom up here too - so everyone gets to wash away the sand... without arguments!

Outside

The back garden basks in its south facing position, and is full of sun and the smell of the sea in summer...

There's a ping pong table, room for a game of badminton or two, and a GAS BBQ with seating for alfresco meals together. Next to the decking area, you'll spot the back gate which will take you straight to the shore in under three minutes!

Parents will love that the garden is entirely viewable from the kitchen and completely fenced in!

Hometruths

In summer, you need to park in the driveway, the road becomes semi-dangerous territory with parking inspectors visiting from time to time. There's space for 3 cars easily.

There is an extra charge for logs and kindling to burn on the fire (October- March) but feel free to BYO!

Accessibility

There's one step in to the house at the front door, otherwise flat in the kitchen and downstairs shower. All bedrooms are upstairs but the stair rail is good.

Kids Stuff: One travel cot - 72cm x 101cm x 71cm and one high chair are provided. There is a very good selection of kids games, toys, books and activities in the house, these suit children from 5-10. In the rear garden you will find a Ping pong table, football goal and games. Bucket and spade type items are left for you too. There is also plastic crockery and cutlery.
Pets: 2-3 dogs welcome for a charge per dog, per stay. The back garden is well enclosed with a high fence.

Other things to note:

We want our guests to enjoy the use of the property and have a memorable time while staying with us. We have a few house rules to note, as follows;

- The property can not be used for parties or private events of any kind.
- No groups under the age of 25.
- Strictly no stag/hen dos or same-sex groups.
- Additional guests, are not permitted without prior approval.
- No music after 9pm
- We must be notified of any pets at the time of booking. Dogs are subject to a charge per dog, per stay.
